Our First Meeting

Friday, October 5th was our first meeting.  There were nine of us total.  We felt it was sweet and comfortable.  Conversation seemed to flow and we all enjoyed hearing each other's cancer story.  We also discussed what we would like to do for future meetings.  One of the things that seemed to spark interest was doing some art therapeutic collage together, so in December we will give that a try.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Our encouragement to you ladies out there, do your self breast  exam.  Here is a good site to help you know how to do it properly-click here----> How To do self breast exam.

This week, Friday, October 5th is our first Women's Cancer Support group meeting.  We sure hope you are able to join us.  We encourage you all to wear pink, as our focus this month will be Breast Cancer awareness.

Meet us, Wednesday, LIVE, on TSPN, our local cable station.  We are scheduled to go on at 7:45am.  They invited us to be part of their focus this month on Breast Cancer awareness.
